John Fox, Founder of Institute for Poetic Medicine leads workshops on West Coast in January
As a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute of Poetic Medicine, I am pleased to be hosting several poetry workshops led by California author and poet, John Fox.
John will lead Poetry Community and the Flourishing Heart at the Centre for Peace from, Tuesday, January 13th (2009) from 2-9 pm and continuing on Wednesday, January 14th, from 9 am to 9 pm, and finishing on Thursday, January 15th from 9 am to 12 noon. The address for the Centre for Peace is 1825 West 16th Avenue. Spaces are available for this workshop. The workshop will be repeated at Rivendell Retreat Centre on Bowen Island where it is sold out, over the weekend of January 16 to 18.
Then on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm John and I will co-lead The Journey of the Poet, at St. Andrew's United Church on St. George's street, near Lonsdale Avenue.
